Changing the assigned department of an open ticket

Ensure tickets reach the right team by changing the assigned department of an open ticket in the uKnowva HRMS helpdesk module. 

Redirect issues to the appropriate department for faster resolution and improved response time.

To do so, go to the  "Dept. Transfer" tab after clicking on the ticket you wish to edit. 

You can reassign the ticket to another department from this tab easily. 

Use the drop-down menu given in front of the Department field to select the department and provide a reason or comment in the editor before clicking "Transfer."

 

You can also click the Reset button next to it to restart assigning the department with a proper reasoning. Or else, click on Cancel to abort this action.
