This month, we’ve introduced new features and enhancements aimed at improving user experience and providing greater customization options.
1. Configurable Access for News and Announcement Widgets
This month, we have introduced configurable add/edit access for News and Announcement widgets, giving administrators greater control over who can modify these sections. This enhancement will boost the visibility of announcements effectively, ensuring only authorized personnel get to create or edit important news within the platform. This new setting addresses a common request from our clients seeking more customizable access levels.
2. Automatic Cleanup of Temporary Server Files
To improve server storage efficiency, we have implemented an automatic cleanup feature for temporary files. Files stored temporarily on the server are now deleted once they’ve been securely copied to their designated location, reducing unnecessary data accumulation.
3. Bulk Edit Feature for User Profiles
We have introduced a new Bulk Edit User(s) button on the My Team’s Details page to simplify user profile management. Admins can now select multiple users and update their profile details simultaneously, rather than relying on CSV uploads. This feature speeds up a key need for clients, requiring batch modifications to user profiles without the need for file imports.
4. Simplified Profile Field Attachment Configuration
This month, we replaced JSON configurations with a multi-select drop-down menu for choosing allowed file types when setting up single or multiple attachment fields in profile management. This change makes it easier for administrators to specify accepted file formats, eliminating the complexity of manual JSON input. The new drop-down menu interface is designed to enhance user experience by streamlining the setup process and providing a more intuitive configuration method.
5. Enhanced Report Settings for Excluding User Groups
A new exclusion setting has been added to report configurations, allowing administrators to exclude specific user groups from accessing certain reports. This feature provides organisations with finer control over report visibility, enabling them to restrict access to sensitive information even from specific admin-level users if needed. This update addresses client needs for increased report customization and confidentiality.
6. Reports Landing Page for Quick Access and Optimisation
We have introduced a new landing page for the Reports section, making it easier for users to quickly locate and access their frequently used reports. This page has been designed to improve search functionality and optimise loading speeds, providing a more streamlined experience for report retrieval and navigation. This enhancement reflects our commitment to supporting efficient workflows and improved performance.
7. Password Reset Reminder Feature
A new password reset reminder feature prompts users to change their passwords after a specified number of days, adding an additional layer of security. This feature helps enforce regular password updates, ensuring accounts remain secure over time. It addresses the need for proactive security measures and promotes a safer digital environment within the platform.
