This month we have worked upon enhancing existing modules to give our clients better User experience. Apart from these we have made a few UI changes.
1. Future-Dated Salary Changes:
- This enhancement was developed in response to client feedback and aims to provide greater flexibility in salary management. With this update, HR administrators can now make salary changes effective from a specified future date. When modifying an employee's salary structure, users will see a new checkbox labeled "Make these changes effective from a future date." Once selected, an additional field will appear, enabling the selection of the desired effective date. This feature streamlines the salary adjustment process, ensuring that changes can be scheduled and implemented seamlessly at a later time.
2. Dependent Profile Fields Feature:
- This update introduces dependent profile fields, allowing for dynamic and context-sensitive data entry. This improvement streamlines data management, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in day-to-day operations. This highly requested feature, driven by client feedback and internal needs, includes an option for administrators to add JSON configurations, enabling flexible and customized dependent fields within profile management.
3. Customizable User Profile Fields on KRA/Appraisal Detail Pages:
- This feature enhances the customization of KRA (Key Result Areas) and Appraisal detail pages within our HRMS software. Administrators can now easily configure which user profile fields to display on these detail pages, providing a tailored view that meets specific customer requirements. This addition addresses frequent customer requests for more detailed user information on KRA and Appraisal pages. By clicking the new 'Configure' button, admins can select and display the relevant profile fields, ensuring that the most pertinent information is accessible for performance evaluations and appraisals. This enhancement not only improves user experience but also adds flexibility and precision to performance management processes.
4. Timesheet Module Enhancement:
- In the latest update, we have addressed several user experience issues and enhanced the functionality of our HRMS software. Notably, we have fixed the filter reset issue, ensuring that custom filters now display correctly and improve the overall user interface. Additionally, we have corrected the display of table references to show descriptive text instead of numerical IDs, specifically within the task list field. We have also resolved issues with the Client and Project filters, and introduced an option to view timesheets in both hours and minutes, providing greater clarity with entries such as 1.5 hours now shown as 1 hour 30 minutes. Furthermore, we have improved the deletion process for timesheet entries that include custom fields, eliminating the need to re-enter the task list. Lastly, to prevent data inconsistencies, members who have already filled in timesheets can no longer be removed from a project. These updates collectively enhance usability and ensure a smoother user experience.
5. VAPT Fixes:
- In our ongoing commitment to ensure the highest level of security for our HRMS software, we have implemented a series of Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) fixes as recommended by the SecIQ team. These critical updates enhance our system's defenses, addressing potential vulnerabilities and reinforcing the overall security infrastructure. Conducting VAPT at regular intervals is an essential practice to safeguard against emerging threats and to maintain the integrity of our platform. This proactive approach underscores our dedication to providing a secure and reliable solution for our users.
