Introduction
In uKnowva HRMS, every employee’s profile is designed to offer a holistic view of their personal, professional, and organisational presence.
Beyond the basic details such as contact and employment information, there are additional fields available on the profile page that offer deeper insights into an individual’s engagement, expertise, and position within the company.
These additional fields are especially useful for team leaders, HR managers, and super admins to evaluate and maintain accurate records while improving workforce collaboration and visibility.
In this article, you’ll learn how to view these additional profile fields for any employee in your uKnowva instance, as well as understand what kind of data each field reveals.
Step 1: Locate the Employee Profile
To begin viewing the additional fields, first access your uKnowva HRMS instance.
Once you’ve logged in, you need to locate the profile of the employee whose additional profile fields you want to view. There are two convenient methods for this.
You can start by using the directory. In the top navigation bar, find and click the People icon, which resembles a group of users.
A drop-down menu will appear where you need to select Directory. This will take you to a full list of users within your organisation.
From here, you can scroll through and browse the list to find the employee.
Alternatively, you can use the top search bar available on your dashboard.
Simply type the name of the user you want to find and then select their name from the auto-suggested results.
Once you've found the desired user, click on their name to open their profile page.
Step 2: View Additional Fields on the Profile Page
After opening the user’s profile, scroll down to explore the sections beyond the basic information.
These additional fields help in evaluating employee participation, skills, and hierarchy within the organisation.
One such section is Profile Statistics. This area shows key metrics like Profile Completed Percentage, Connected Percentage, Contribution Score, and Active Score.
These indicators reflect how engaged an employee is within the uKnowva HRMS platform.
A higher profile completion percentage signifies a well-updated profile, while the contribution and active percentages highlight how participative the user is in the network.
The next section, Skills and Endorsements, allows users to display their skill sets and receive endorsements from colleagues.
Employees can add new skills using the Add Skill button, and others in the organisation can validate these skills through endorsements.
This system not only recognises employee capabilities but also encourages peer validation.
Another important section is the Organisation Chart. This visual tool helps employees understand their place in the company hierarchy.
It displays reporting structures, both upward and downward, and offers a clear view of the team dynamics.
You can also change the chart view based on levels. If you wish to return to the default view, simply click the Reset button.
There’s also an option to open the organisation chart in a new window by clicking the arrow button next to the reset option.
All these sections provide meaningful and interactive ways to understand a user's contributions and organisational role more deeply.
Admins can choose to show or hide these fields based on evolving company policies, making the profile page adaptable and relevant.
Conclusion
That’s it!
You’ve now successfully viewed the additional fields on an employee’s profile in uKnowva HRMS.
These fields provide valuable insights into a user’s organisational alignment, skills, and engagement.
Whether you are an HR manager tracking employee progress or a team leader identifying skill sets within your team, these additional sections on the profile page help you make more informed decisions.
