How to Set KRAs for Your Team in Data-Driven PMS in uKnowva HRMS?

Introduction

Setting KRAs (Key Result Areas) for your team is one of the most important tasks in ensuring effective performance management.

In uKnowva HRMS, the Data-Driven PMS module provides a streamlined process to assign, update, and monitor KRAs for each employee.

This feature not only helps managers clearly define expectations but also creates transparency for team members regarding their goals and performance parameters.

By using the Set KRA for Team option, managers can assign KRAs to individuals or multiple employees at once, filter employees by various categories, and update existing KRAs whenever required.

Step 1: Accessing the Set KRA for Team Page

To begin, log into your uKnowva HRMS instance and go to the left-side navigation panel. From the available menus, select the Data Driven PMS Systems menu, and then click on the Set KRA for Team sub-menu.

This will open a new page displaying a list of employees under columns such as Name, Action, Manager, Designation, and Status.

Step 2: Finding and Filtering Employees

On this page, you can locate specific employees by using the search bar.

Simply enter the relevant keywords and click on the search button, and the list will display only the employees matching your criteria.

If you want to clear the filters, click on the reset button. You can also use the More Filters option, located above the list, which provides additional filters like Team Members, Designation, or Department.

This helps in narrowing down your search to the exact employee group you need.

Next to the search bar, you will also find a drop-down list to select the required Data-Driven appraisal cycle.

Selecting this option ensures that you are assigning or reviewing KRAs for the correct cycle.

In addition, there is another drop-down filter for KRA Status, allowing you to filter employees based on whether KRAs have already been set, are pending, or are in progress.

Once you have chosen the desired filters, click the search button to apply them or reset to clear the selection.

Step 3: Updating KRAs for an Employee

If you need to update the KRAs of a particular employee, locate them from the list and click on the pen icon under the Action column.

This will open a new page where you can edit important details such as the Appraisal Type, KRA Template, and the individual KPIs.

Once you make the necessary changes, click on the Save button to confirm your updates or select Cancel if you decide not to apply the changes.

Step 4: Setting KRAs for Employees

To assign KRAs to employees, first locate them from the list. You can select one or multiple employees at the same time by clicking the checkbox next to their names.

After making your selection, go to the top-right corner of the page and click on the Set KRA button. A new interface will open.

Here, you need to select the KRA template, and once you have reviewed the KPIs, click on the save button.

This bulk action feature helps save time and ensures consistency across your team.

This will allow you to assign the appropriate KRA template and ensure that the employees are aligned with their performance goals for the appraisal cycle.

Conclusion

That’s it!

You’ve now successfully set KRAs for your team in the Data-Driven PMS module of uKnowva HRMS.

By following this process, you can easily locate employees using search and filter options, update existing KRAs, and assign new ones either individually or in bulk.
