Introduction
Managing goals effectively also means having the flexibility to revise or remove objectives that are no longer relevant.
In uKnowva HRMS, the OKR (Objectives and Key Results) module offers you the ability to not only track progress and assign goals but also delete OKR entries that are outdated or added by mistake.
This feature helps keep your performance records clean, updated, and aligned with current organizational priorities.
Step 1: Navigate to the OKR Page and Locate the Goal List
Before deleting any OKR, ensure that the OKR extension is installed in your instance of uKnowva.
You can download it directly from the uKnowva Extension Store. If you're unfamiliar with how to access the OKR module, refer to our detailed tutorial by clicking here.
Once you’ve accessed the OKR module through the “My Performance” section, you will see a detailed list view of all existing goals and sub-goals arranged under headers such as Goal/Sub Goal, Weightage, Action, Assigned To, Progress, Status, Time Interval, and Due Date.
This overview allows you to identify which goals or sub-goals need to be removed based on their relevance or accuracy.
Step 2: Select the Goal and Delete It
To delete a specific OKR goal or sub-goal, start by selecting the checkbox located to the left of the goal’s name.
This selects the particular entry you wish to delete.
After selecting the appropriate checkbox, locate the bin icon at the top-right corner of the OKR list. Click on this icon to initiate the deletion process.
Once clicked, a confirmation alert will appear on the screen asking you to verify your action.
This alert helps prevent accidental deletions by prompting you to confirm that you truly want to remove the selected OKR.
After confirming, the selected goal or sub-goal will be permanently removed from the system.
Conclusion
That’s it!
You’ve now successfully deleted an OKR goal or sub-goal in uKnowva HRMS.
By following this process, you ensure that your performance management system remains clean, accurate, and aligned with your organization’s ongoing objectives.
Keeping your OKR list up to date not only simplifies goal tracking but also enhances overall productivity and reporting clarity.
