Step 1: Navigate to the Resource Requisition Form
To begin, go to the side navigation panel in uKnowva HRMS and click on the Recruitment menu. Under this section, select the Resource Requisition Form sub-menu.
This action will redirect you to a new page where you can fill out the details required to raise a new resource request.
Step 2: Enter Basic Job Requirements
On the Resource Requisition Form page, the first step is to enter the essential job-related details.
Start by entering the Hiring Manager's name responsible for the requirement. Then, provide the Job Title and specify the Number of Positions needed for this role.
Make sure this information accurately reflects the hiring needs, as it forms the foundation of the recruitment request.
Next, select the End Date, which defines the deadline until which this requisition should remain active.
Additionally, choose the Branch Location where the selected candidate will be deployed. These basic inputs help recruiters and approvers understand the urgency, scope, and placement of the resource needed.
Step 3: Add Job-Specific Details
After filling in the initial details, scroll down to enter a comprehensive Job Description. This field allows you to describe the responsibilities, expectations, and nature of the role in detail.
Following this, list out the Primary Skills required for the role, which will help in filtering and shortlisting suitable candidates more effectively.
You can then enter the Educational Qualifications necessary for the position and the Years of Experience expected from the applicants.
If there are any preferences regarding Gender, select the appropriate option in the Preferred Gender field.
Specify the Maximum Notice Period (in months) the hiring manager is willing to accept from a candidate, and mention the Maximum Salary (in Lakhs) that has been budgeted for this role.
If you have any relevant Attachments such as job specifications or approval documents, you can upload them here to support the requisition form.
Step 4: Define the Type of Requisition
In this step, you must select the Type of Requisition—whether it is for a New position or a Replacement of an existing employee.
If you select “Replacement,” an additional field will appear asking for the Replacement Name,
where you can mention the employee who is being replaced.
This helps in maintaining transparency and justifying the requisition based on existing headcount changes.
Step 5: Submit the Resource Request
Once all the details have been filled out accurately and attachments uploaded if needed, review the information to ensure there are no errors.
