Here's a step-by-step guide on how to import and export leave history for your team in uKnowva HRMS:


Export Leave History for Your Team

Step-by-step:

1.Login to your uKnowva account.

2.From the left-hand menu, go to: My Team > Leave

3.If you are a

Reporting Manager: You’ll see the leave history of your direct/indirect team members.
HR SPOC: You’ll see leave data based on your assigned team/region.
HR Admin: You can access all employees’ leave history.

4. Click on the funnel icon and apply filters such as:

Date Range
Leave Status (Approved, Rejected, Pending, etc.)
Department / Designation/ Employee Name (if required)

5. Click the “Export to Excel”  button (usually at the top-right of the table).

6. The file will be downloaded in Excel (.xlsx) or CSV format.


Import Leave History (for past records or corrections)

Note: This option is generally available for HR Admins or users with specific rights.

Steps to Import Leave History:

  1. Go to Team > Leave History.
  2. Click on the Import Leave History button
  3. Download the template file (CSV or Excel).

Ø  This template includes required fields like:

  • Username
  • Leave Type
  • Status
  • From
  • To
  • Duration
  • Comments
  • Leave Reason
  • Applied On
  • Approved By
  • Created By
  1. Fill in the leave details as per format and save the file.
  2. Upload the CSV file using the Import option.
  3. The system will validate the data and show any errors for correction.
  4. Once successful, imported records will reflect in the employee leave history.

Notes:

  • Always backup data before importing or modifying in bulk.
  • Ensure you have the correct permissions. If not, contact your uknowva Helpdesk in case of help.
