Introduction
In any growing organisation, workflows are created regularly to automate various internal processes.
However, over time, some workflows may become outdated, redundant, or irrelevant due to changes in business rules, structure, or automation needs.
uKnowva HRMS provides an easy and secure way to manage such scenarios by allowing users to delete individual or multiple workflows that are no longer required.
This helps maintain a clean and efficient workflow environment, reducing clutter and potential confusion.
In this article, you'll learn how to delete one or multiple workflows from your uKnowva HRMS instance.
Step 1: Deleting Multiple Workflows at Once
If you're not sure how to access the workflow page, refer to this guide before continuing.
Once you’re on the workflow list page, you’ll see a table displaying all the workflows that have been in your system.
To delete multiple workflows simultaneously, start by selecting the checkboxes next to the workflow names you want to remove. These checkboxes appear in the first column of the table.
After selecting the relevant workflows, look towards the top-right corner of the page, where you’ll find a bin (delete) icon.
Clicking on this icon triggers an alert message asking you to confirm your action.
This safety prompt ensures that workflows are not deleted accidentally.
Once confirmed, all selected workflows will be permanently removed from your system.
This action is irreversible, so make sure you’ve reviewed your selection carefully before proceeding.
Step 2: Deleting an Individual Workflow
If you only need to delete a single workflow, you can do so directly from the workflow list interface.
First, locate the specific workflow you want to remove by either scrolling through the list or using the search field at the top of the page to filter results.
Once you find the workflow, move to the three-dot icon located under the Action column for that workflow.
This menu provides multiple options such as View, Edit, and Delete. Select the Delete option to initiate the removal of that workflow.
Just like with bulk deletion, an alert will appear asking for confirmation. Click on Confirm to permanently delete the workflow from your system.
Keep in mind that this action cannot be undone, so only delete workflows you’re absolutely certain are no longer required.
Conclusion
That’s it!
You’ve now successfully deleted individual or multiple workflows from your uKnowva HRMS.
By following this process, you ensure that your workflow module stays organised and only contains relevant, up-to-date processes.
This makes it easier to manage, search, and maintain workflows efficiently across your teams.
