Viewing Applicable Holidays in uKnowva HRMS
Step 1: Go to Left menu > My Leaves menu > From there, select the Holidays sub-menu.
This action will open a new interface that displays a comprehensive list of all holidays available to you.
The data is presented in a structured table format under the headers Occasion, Day, Date, and City / Town.
This helps you understand which holidays are recognised by your organisation and whether they apply based on your location.
How to Apply for an Optional Holiday
Step 1: To apply for an optional holiday, return to the side navigation panel and click on the My Leaves menu once again.
Left menu > My leaves > Apply for Optional Holiday
Step 2: This time, select Apply for Optional Holiday, which will lead you to a page listing all available optional holidays for the current year.
Step 3: Each holiday is displayed with a checkbox next to its name, allowing you to select the ones you wish to take.
After making your selection, click on the Final Submit button to proceed with your request.
Step 4: If you are searching for holidays for a different year, you can use the filter option by clicking the funnel icon located at the top-right corner of the screen.
This will display a drop-down menu where you can select a specific year and click the Go button to update the list accordingly.
You can also use the Reset button to clear any filters and return to the full list of optional holidays.
Once submitted, your request is automatically forwarded to the assigned approver, who will then review and take action on your application.
