Releasing or unassigning an open ticket

Need to free up a ticket for reassignment? 

Easily release or unassign open tickets in the helpdesk module of uKnowva HRMS, allowing other team members to take over and resolve them without delays.

To release (unassign) a ticket, start by opening the ticket you want to unassign. 

Once the ticket details page is open, scroll down to locate the "Action" drop-down menu. Click on this menu to view the available options and select the "Release (Unassign) Ticket" option. 

This action will remove the current assignment from the ticket, making it unassigned and available for other support agents to pick up. 

Releasing a ticket is useful when a ticket has been assigned to the wrong agent or department, or when it needs to be reassigned based on workload or expertise. 

Once unassigned, the ticket will remain in the system until another agent takes ownership or the admin assigns it to the appropriate team member.
