To ensure certain PII (Personally Identifiable Information) information is encrypted and stored in database, you can follow below steps

Step 1: Go to uKnowva Configuration --> Profile fields manager

Step 2: Select the field you wish to encrypt and store

Step 3: Select the type of field as Encrypted Text

Note: In case you are already LIVE and are trying to do this, then please take a backup of the data from user manager and then after changing configuration you may have to re-import the data. Else there is a high-possibility of data loss. In case you are unsure to do this by yourself, please take help from our helpdesk team by writing to helpdesk[at]uknowva[dot]com.
