This page provides access to the administrative settings you can use to manage different aspects of your uKnowva HRMS instance.
Step 2: Open the System - App Notifications Plugin
On the Configuration page, locate the navigation menu on the left side and click Plugin Manager.
The system opens the Plugin Manager page, where you can view and manage the available plugins.
Use the search option to locate the System - App Notifications plugin. Once you find it, click the plugin to open its configuration popup.
Step 3: Enable Block Screenshots & Screen Recording
In the plugin configuration pop-up, locate the Block Screenshots & Screen Recording setting.
By default, this setting is switched off and set to No. To restrict screenshots and screen recording in the uKnowva HRMS mobile app, toggle the setting to Yes.
When you enable this option, employees cannot capture screenshots or record their screens while using the mobile app. Protected screens appear black in screenshots and screen recordings, helping prevent the visible contents of those screens from being captured.
If you want to allow screenshots and do not want this restriction enabled, leave the setting switched off. Choose the appropriate option based on your organisation's security requirements.
Step 4: Save the Configuration
After setting Block Screenshots & Screen Recording to Yes, click Save in the configuration popup to apply the changes.
Once you save the configuration, the system stores the updated setting. The screenshot and screen recording restriction will apply to the protected screens in the uKnowva HRMS mobile app according to the configured setting.
