The Learning Management System (LMS) in uKnowva HRMS allows administrators to organize courses by creating specific categories. This feature is useful for segmenting courses based on department, skill level, or training needs, ensuring users can easily find relevant content.
Steps to Add a Course Category
Step 1: Go to the My LMS menu on the left navigation bar of the home page and click on the Categories sub-menu.
Step 2: Once in the Categories section, click on the “Add” button to create a new course category.
Step 3: Fill in all the required fields such as Category Name, Parent Category, Category Access, Short Description, Start Date, etc.
Note: Select the user group that can access this category, or set it to “All” if it’s open to all employees.
Step 4: Include any additional information about the category in the Description field. After entering all necessary information, click on the Save button to finalize the new course category.
