Rather than asking candidates to reapply for a different role, recruiters can assign them directly to another open position, streamlining the hiring process while maintaining a seamless applicant experience.

Step 1: Open the My Applicants Page

Start by logging in to your uKnowva HRMS account and navigating to the Recruitment section from the side navigation panel. From the drop-down, click on the My Applicants sub-menu.

This will open a list of all candidates who have applied for various job openings.

You can search for a specific candidate by name using the search bar at the top or manually scroll through the list to locate the individual.

Step 2: View Applicant Details and Assign Another Job

Once you’ve found the applicant, click on their name to access their detailed profile page.

This page will display comprehensive information about the candidate, including the position they originally applied for and other relevant data.

In the top-right corner of this interface, click on the three-dot icon to open a drop-down menu.

This menu will present two options: Edit Profile Information and Assign Another Job. Select the Assign Another Job option.

A pop-up window will appear on the screen, prompting you to assign the candidate to an additional job opening.

In the field labeled Select Jobs to Assign, choose the desired job from the drop-down list.

Just above this field, you’ll also notice a note displaying the role the applicant has already applied for—for example: Note: This candidate had already applied for the following position(s): Executive - Sales & Operations.

This ensures clarity for recruiters while reassigning roles. Once the appropriate job is selected, click on the Assign button to confirm.

If you change your mind, simply click Cancel to discard the action.
