The Salary Heads feature in uKnowva HRMS allows you to define components such as earnings, deductions, and other payroll elements essential for salary structure creation. Follow these steps to add or configure salary heads effectively.
Steps to Create or Configure Salary Heads
Step 1: Navigate to the HR menu, then go to Payroll, and select the Salary Heads sub-menu from the left-hand navigation bar.
Step 2: In this section, you’ll see a list of all existing salary heads. To add a new one, click on the “+” icon located at the top of the page.
Step 3: For example, We’ll add “Bonus” as the Title and “bonus” as the Short Code. In Type, select “Earnings” as Bonus is an earning.
Step 4: Select an appropriate category for the salary head, ensuring it aligns with your payroll structure.
Step 5: Set the Status to Yes to make the salary head active. Finally, click on the Save button to add the new salary head.
After saving, check whether the new salary head appears in the list. This ensures that the configuration has been successfully added to the system.
By using this feature, you can efficiently manage salary components, enabling a flexible and comprehensive payroll setup in uKnowva HRMS
