How to Configure SMTP in Helpdesk/Ticketing system of uKnowva

 

How to configure SMTP?

Apart from send mail, the application support an external SMTP server to send the email like Gmail, outlook SMTP.

Please follow the below steps to configure the Outlook / office365 SMTP.

 

Step 1: Login with provided admin credential using admin URL.

 

Step 2: Open the customer Support from left side menu bar.

 

 

 

Step 3: Choose Go to Admin Panel

 

 

Step 4: Choose Emails button 

 

Step 5: Click on Add new Email

 

 

 Step 6: Fill all the desired information available in the form like below and submit it.

Make Sure there are few configurations are must be allowed in outlook / office365, when you use outlook or office365 SMTP.

 

Steps 1: Login in Microsoft 365 admin center and choose Active users under users menu. 

 

Step 2:  Once you get all active users list click on 3 dots nearby Display name. after that you will see the screen like below.

 

 

 Step 3: Choose Manage email apps under mail menu. And allow all the apps like below screen and save changes.
