How to add Extra Earnings/Deductions in uKnowva HRMS

Managing payroll adjustments, like adding extra earnings or deductions, is simple with uKnowva HRMS. The platform allows HR managers to handle both individual and bulk updates, ensuring accurate and efficient payroll management. Follow the steps below to add or import these adjustments.


Step 1:
.In the side navigation bar, navigate to HR Manager and select Extra Earnings/Deductions from the menu.

 

 

 

Step 2: Click on "+" icon to Add a new Earnings/Deductions

 

Step 3: Select "Type" Earnings or Deductions from the drop-down menu

 

 

Step 4: On the basis of the "Type" you’ll get different options for Group

 

 

 

Step 5: Choose the month for which you want add the Earnings or Deductions

 

 

Step 6: After filling in all the fields click on "Save

 

 

Step 7: Click on the "Edit" button to edit the Earnings / Deductions

 

Step 8: After finishing the edits, click on "Save

 

 

Step 9:To import the Earnings/Deductions in bulk, click on the "Import CSV File"

 

Step 10: Here you’ll get 2 import methods, Basic import & Legacy import

 

 

Template of Basic Import

 

Using this template, you can add one earning or deduction for one user in a single row horizontally. To do this, just add the E/D group in the headers against the user.

 

Template of Legacy Import

 

Using this template, you can import multiple Earnings/Deductions, you need to create multiple rows for a single user if you want to add multiple entries.
