By defining appraisal cycles with clear start and end dates, organizations can maintain consistency in evaluations and ensure that all employees are assessed within the designated period.

This article will guide you through the process of managing data-driven appraisal cycles, including searching, adding, and editing cycles in uKnowva HRMS.

Step 1: Accessing the Data-Driven Appraisal Cycles Page

To begin, log in to your uKnowva HRMS account and navigate to the left-side navigation panel. From there, click on the Data Driven PMS Systems menu and select the Data Driven Appraisal Cycles sub-menu.

This will open a page displaying a list of all existing appraisal cycles under columns such as Title, Action, Description, Valid From, Valid To, Financial Year, and Published status.

Step 2: Searching for a Specific Appraisal Cycle

If you need to locate a particular appraisal cycle, use the search bar at the top of the page. Enter the relevant appraisal cycle name and click the search button.

The system will filter the list to display only the matching appraisal cycles. To clear the applied filters and return to the full list, simply click the reset button.

This search functionality ensures that administrators can quickly find and manage the required appraisal cycles without manually scrolling through extensive lists.

Step 3: Adding a New Appraisal Cycle

To add a new appraisal cycle, click on the + Add button located above the list of appraisal cycles.

A pop-up window will appear where you can enter the details of the new cycle. Here, provide the Title and Description for the appraisal cycle, along with the Valid From and Valid To dates.

Based on the start and end dates, the system will automatically populate the corresponding financial year.

It is important to ensure that the Published toggle is set to Yes; this ensures that the appraisal cycle is active and available for use in the system.

Once all the details are correctly entered, click the Save button to create the cycle or Cancel if you wish to discard the entry.

Step 4: Editing an Existing Appraisal Cycle

If you need to make changes to an existing appraisal cycle, locate it in the list and click on the pen icon under the Action column.

This will open a pop-up where you can edit the Title, Description, Valid From and Valid To dates, or update the Published status.

Once the necessary edits are made, click the Save button to apply the changes or Cancel to discard them.

This functionality allows administrators to maintain accurate and up-to-date appraisal cycles in alignment with organizational timelines and policies.
