Performance management is a key responsibility for every manager, as it helps ensure that employees are evaluated fairly, receive constructive feedback, and align their growth with organizational goals.

uKnowva HRMS simplifies this process by offering the Rate My Team feature, where Reporting Managers can directly rate their team members, provide remarks, and submit appraisal recommendations in an organized manner.

This ensures transparency, accuracy, and efficiency in performance evaluation. In this article, we will walk you through the detailed steps to rate your team in uKnowva HRMS.

Step 1: Accessing the Rate My Team Section

To begin, log in to your uKnowva HRMS account. From the left-hand side menu, navigate to the My Performance menu and select the Rate My Team sub-menu.

This will open the team rating interface, where you can view all your reporting team members in one place.

Step 2: Locating the Employee

Once inside the Rate My Team section, you can easily locate the employee whose performance you want to rate.

Use the search bar at the top by entering specific keywords, such as the employee’s name.

Click on the Search button to filter the results, or use the Reset button to clear the filters.

Next to the search bar, you will also find a drop-down menu for filtering the list based on Appraisal Cycles, designations, or status, where you can select the relevant filters.

Step 3: Rating the Employee

In the list of employees displayed, go to the Action column and click on Rate Now next to the employee you wish to rate.

This will open the detailed rating interface.

Start by selecting the Rating period.

As a Reporting Manager, you will be able to view employee ratings, past remarks, and then proceed to submit your own evaluation.

Enter your ratings in the Manager Rating section and add thoughtful feedback in the Manager Remarks section for both KRAs (Key Result Areas) and Competencies.

Under the KRA and Competencies, you will find the Manager's average ratings.

Step 4: Adding Recommendations

Along with ratings and remarks, you can also fill out the Appraiser/RM Recommendations fields.

This section allows you to add recommendations for the employee’s future growth, training needs, or other observations that may support their career progression.

These recommendations provide a holistic view of employee performance and help during final appraisals.

Step 5: Submitting the Rating

After filling in all the necessary fields, you can finalize the process. Click on the Save button to submit your ratings.

If you are still working on them, you may choose the Clear as Draft option to save progress without submitting.

Alternatively, click Cancel if you decide not to proceed. Once successfully submitted, the employee’s status will automatically change.

Once you complete the process, the employee will receive a notification confirming that their Reporting Manager has completed their rating.

This ensures transparency and keeps employees updated about their appraisal status.
