Introduction

Tracking performance effectively starts with defining clear goals. In uKnowva HRMS, the OKR (Objectives and Key Results) module enables teams and individuals to align their work with organizational objectives by setting measurable and time-bound goals.

OKRs provide a structured way to bridge company vision with employee performance, ensuring that every task contributes to broader business success.

This system not only helps in defining what needs to be achieved but also outlines how progress will be measured, creating a shared sense of direction across the organization.

With real-time visibility into objectives and key results, managers and employees can track milestones, make informed decisions, and adjust priorities whenever needed.

By encouraging transparency, accountability, and collaboration across departments, the OKR module transforms goal setting into a dynamic and engaging process rather than a one-time exercise.

Step 1: Open the OKR Page and Access the Goal List

If you’re looking to add a new OKR goal, it’s important to first ensure that the OKR extension is installed from the uKnowva Extension Store.

Once installed, the OKR module becomes accessible via the “My Performance” menu. For detailed navigation on how to access the OKR page, we recommend visiting our step-by-step tutorial by clicking here.

After successfully navigating to the OKR section within your uKnowva HRMS dashboard, you will see a tabular layout displaying existing goals and sub-goals under various headers such as Goal/Sub Goal, Weightage, Action, Assigned To, Progress, Status, Time Interval, and Due Date.

This layout helps you monitor current goals while giving you the option to add new ones.

Step 2: Click on + Create OKR and Enter Goal Details

To create a new OKR, click on the + Create OKR button located above the goal list.

This action will open a pop-up window where you can define the details of your new goal. Begin by entering the name of your Goal.

You must then specify the Time Interval during which this goal is expected to be achieved, ensuring it aligns with quarterly, monthly, or custom review periods.

Continue by selecting the appropriate Measurement Type to define how the goal will be tracked—whether it's percentage-based or numeric.

Enter the Progress if the goal has already been initiated, and choose a suitable Status such as Not Started, In Progress. Assign the goal to the appropriate employee using the Assigned To field.

Now, determine the Weightage that reflects this goal's contribution to the broader objective, then fill in the Start Value, Target Value, and finally select the Due Date by which the goal should be completed.

Once all fields are correctly populated, you can either click on the Reset button to clear the form or select the Save button to successfully create the new OKR.

Conclusion

That’s it!

You’ve now successfully added a new OKR goal in uKnowva HRMS.

By following this process, you ensure that your team’s objectives are clearly defined, measurable, and aligned with overall business goals.

The OKR module not only streamlines goal setting but also fosters a culture of accountability and continuous performance tracking.
