This document describes the Authentication process of  login into uKnowva Accounts.

Below is the Diagrammatic representation of the flow of ‘uKnowva Login Authentication process’.

Step 1: User enters the username and password.

Step 2: System runs all the authentication plugins like LDAP/Active Directory, Email, uKnowva Authentication and Other custom authentication.

Step 3: System authenticates the entered username and password.

Step 4: If user is authenticated then the system successfully redirects user to his/her uknowva account.

Step 5: If the user is not authenticated then the system will send the error message ‘User account does not exist’ to the user.

Step 6: System checks for the user is new or not. If 'Yes' then it will check ‘Auto-create enabled?’ on your uKnowva instance.

Step 7: If auto-create is enabled then the new user can register him /her and the user will able to login into uKnowva account.
