With this feature, you can easily update your team’s monthly attendance records with simple Present and Absent entries, saving both time and effort.
Step 1: Accessing the Attendance Section
To begin the process, go to the side navigation bar of your uKnowva HRMS account and click on the Team menu.
From the sub-menu, select the Attendance report sub-menu.
This will open the attendance management section for your team, where you can view and manage attendance data.
Step 2: Selecting the Import Option
Once you are on the attendance management page, locate the Import button above the list.
Click on it, and a drop-down menu will appear. From the list of available options, choose Import Attendance P & A.
This option allows you to import attendance based on Present (P) and Absent (A) values without needing to enter start and end times for each day.
Step 3: Downloading the CSV Template
After selecting the import option, a pop-up window will appear on your screen. Here, you will see the option to download the CSV template provided by the system.
Click on it to download the file.
This template contains the required format in which you must enter the attendance details for your employees.
Step 4: Filling in the Attendance Data
Open the downloaded CSV template and start entering the attendance records. For each employee, mark their status as P for Present or A for Absent under the designated columns.

Step 5: Uploading the File
Once you have filled in all the necessary details in the CSV template, return to the pop-up window in uKnowva HRMS.

Within moments, your team’s monthly attendance will be reflected in the system without the need to manually add start and end times.
