Introduction

Resigning from an organization is a significant step, and uKnowva HRMS provides a structured and efficient way to submit your resignation.

This feature ensures a seamless offboarding process by allowing employees to formally submit their resignation, provide a reason for leaving, and specify any relevant details.

It also allows flexibility in choosing the last working day and requesting an exemption from serving the notice period if necessary.

By following this process, employees can ensure that their resignation is recorded accurately, reducing any potential delays in approval and exit formalities.

Step 1: Accessing the Resignation Submission Page

To initiate your resignation in uKnowva HRMS, navigate to the Resignation menu from the side navigation panel and click on the My Resignation sub-menu.

This will open the resignation submission interface, where you can fill in the necessary details to formally submit your request.

Step 2: Filling in Resignation Details

In the resignation form, the For User field should be set to Me, ensuring that you are submitting the request for yourself.

Your Employee Name, last working day, and Notice Period will be displayed automatically based on your profile settings.

You must then select a reason for resignation from the drop-down menu, which includes options such as Personal Reasons, Health Issues, Career Growth, and more.

Step 3: Requesting a Notice Period Exemption

If you do not wish to serve the notice period, you can select the checkbox provided in the resignation form.

Once selected, additional fields will appear where you must enter the Requested Last Day of Work and provide a valid reason for not serving the notice period.

This step allows employees to formally request an early release, ensuring transparency and proper documentation.

Step 4: Submitting the Resignation Request

After filling in all the necessary details, including any remarks you wish to add, review the information carefully.

Once everything is in place, click the Submit button to finalize your resignation request.

This action formally submits your resignation for approval, after which it will be processed by HR and relevant managers.
