Rollback Rating – Performance Management (Admin Use)

1. Overview

The Rollback Rating feature enables HR/Admin users to revert submitted or approved performance ratings to an earlier stage in the appraisal cycle. This function is useful when a rating needs to be corrected, reviewed again, or changed due to feedback mismatches, or organizational review decisions.


2. When to Use Rollback Rating

  • The Employee or manager submitted a rating by mistake.
  • The rating was approved prematurely without discussion.
  • There is a need for correction due to updated KPIs or revised KRA alignment.

3. Accessing the Rollback Rating Option

Navigation Path:

Left Menu > Appraisal Status of All Users

Steps to Perform Rollback:

  1. Login as Admin.
  2. Locate the relevant Appraisal Cycle from filter option available, employee’s name or use search.
  3. Click on (three dot) Actions > Select required option

 A. Delete Manager Rating

This option allows the Admin to delete only the manager’s submitted ratings, while preserving the rest of the appraisal cycle data.

 B. Delete All Ratings

This option removes all rating entries for the selected employee and cycle, including:

Employee self-ratings
Manager ratings
Reviewer/approver ratings (if applicable)
