OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) are essential for goal tracking and performance management in any organization. With uKnowva HRMS, you can easily manage, monitor, and update your goals and sub-goals as needed. Whether an objective needs adjustment due to shifting priorities or a correction to initial inputs, uKnowva allows HR professionals and team managers to edit OKRs seamlessly.

Before you proceed with editing any goal, make sure the OKR extension is already installed in your system. You can download it from theuKnowva Extension Store.

Step 1: Locate the OKR to Edit

Once you are on the OKR/Goals page, you will see a list of existing OKRs arranged under headers such as Goal/Sub Goal, Weightage, Action, Assigned To, Progress, Status, Time Interval, and Due Date.

These columns help you quickly understand the current status of each objective and make it easier to identify the one you want to update.

If there are many goals listed, you can use the search field at the top of the page to find the specific OKR you need to edit.

Step 2: Open the Goal Editing Panel

Once you have located the OKR or sub-goal you want to edit, move your cursor to the same row and look under the Action column.

You will find a small pen icon; click on this pen icon to open a pop-up editing panel. This panel allows you to make necessary changes to the selected OKR.

Step 3: Make the Required Changes

In the pop-up that appears, you will be able to edit various fields depending on what needs to be updated.

These fields include Goal/SubGoal, Time Interval, Start Value, Status, Weightage, Due Date, Measurement Type, Target Value, and Assigned To.

All mandatory fields will be marked with an asterisk (*) and must be filled in before saving.

You can update a goal’s time frame, shift its due date, change the assigned user, or adjust its weightage and progress measurement depending on evolving team objectives or performance metrics.

Once you’ve completed all your edits, click on the Save button at the bottom of the pop-up to apply the changes.

If you want to discard all the changes and start over, you can click the Reset button.
