This allows employees to quickly access relevant information and ensures that HR or administrators can upload new policies with ease.

In this guide, we will walk you through the process of uploading employee-related policies in uKnowva HRMS.

Step 1: Access the Document Repository

Begin by logging into your uKnowva HRMS account. From the top navigation bar, click on the folder icon, which will take you to the document repository where all organizational files are stored.

Depending on how your organization has arranged its files, you will find a folder labeled Policy, which contains all employee-related policy documents. Click on this folder to open it.

Step 2: Upload a New Policy Document

Once inside the Policy folder, you can review the existing policies and upload a new policy. To upload a new policy, locate the + Upload File button above the file list and click on it.

A pop-up window will appear. In this pop-up, click the + Add Files button to select the policy document from your system.

After selecting the file, the file will automatically be uploaded, but in case, for some reason, it is not, click on the Start Upload button to begin uploading the document.

Once the file is successfully uploaded, you can proceed to edit its details directly within the same pop-up.

Here, you can update important fields such as Title and Description, and configure access settings like View Access, Edit Access, and Delete Access. You also have the option to remove the file if needed.

When you have finished entering all the details, select all the files by clicking on the checkbox present at the end of the row, and click the Save All button to save the policy document to the database, or click the Save button located under the Save column to save that specific file’s details.
