Step 1: Access the uKnowva Configuration Menu

To begin configuring late mark rules, click on your profile icon at the top-right corner of the screen.

This will open a dropdown menu where you need to select uKnowva Configuration.

Once selected, the configuration settings interface will appear, allowing you to manage various system functionalities.

Step 2: Navigate to the Late Marks Plugin

Within the configuration settings, locate the Plugin Manager menu on the left-side panel and click on it. This will display a list of all available plugins in the system.

Find the Late Marks plugin by either scrolling through the list or using the search bar. Click on it to access the configuration settings for late marks.

Step 3: Configure Late Mark Rules

In the Late Marks plugin settings, you can define the applicable rules and exclusions.

You can specify the Applicable To criteria, exclude specific user groups or individual users, and configure Late Mark Rules by adding multiple rules or deleting existing ones.

Additionally, you can set up Leave Deduction Rules, define Leave Deduction Priority by selecting options from the dropdown menu, and determine whether the system should run late mark rules for unapproved attendance.

Other settings include toggling options for removing late marks if attendance is regularized, running late mark rules after a specific number of days, and selecting unpaid leave types from the available list.

After configuring the settings, click on the Save button to apply the changes. If you do not wish to proceed with the modifications, click on Cancel to discard them.

Step 4: Access the List of Late Marks

Once the late mark rules are configured, you can proceed to delete late marks and action-taken late marks.

To do this, navigate to the side navigation panel and search for the List Late Marks menu.

Click on it to open the late marks interface, which displays a list of records under various headers, including Name, Date, Late Reason, Action Taken, and Action.

Step 5: Select and Delete Late Marks

In the late marks list, each entry has a checkbox located to the left of the employee’s name.

Click on the checkbox to select the employee(s) whose late marks need to be deleted.

Once selected, click on the Delete Late Mark button above the list. This will remove the selected late mark entries from the system.
