Recruitment just got a major productivity boost. This month, we’ve introduced Bulk Status Update on the My Applicants page—giving recruiters the power to update multiple candidate statuses in one go.

Instead of manually changing each applicant’s status one by one, you can now instantly select a batch of candidates and apply updates with a single action. Whether you're moving applicants to the next interview stage, marking them as shortlisted, or closing multiple profiles at once, the entire process now takes seconds instead of minutes.

This highly requested enhancement removes repetitive admin work, keeps pipelines clean and organized, and lets hiring teams stay focused on what truly matters—engaging the right talent at the right time. With faster updates and a smoother workflow, your recruitment cycle becomes more agile, efficient, and responsive than ever before.

2. The Candidate Portal is Live – Transparent, Fast, and Built for Engagement

We’re excited to introduce the all-new Candidate Portal in uKnowva HRMS—a major enhancement to the recruitment experience and a long-requested addition to our core platform. This portal gives applicants a smooth, modern, and transparent way to engage with the hiring process from start to finish.

Candidates can now log in easily using secure OTP-based authentication, eliminating the need for passwords and enabling instant access. Once logged in, they can view all jobs they have applied for along with their latest statuses, track offer letters and review their approval progress, update their personal details whenever required, and apply for new openings directly through the portal.

With this portal, communication becomes more efficient, manual follow-ups reduce significantly, and candidates enjoy a more professional and user-friendly experience. This upgrade not only empowers applicants but also supports hiring teams in managing recruitment activities with greater clarity and reduced back-and-forth.

3. Introducing uKnowva's HR Bot on WhatsApp for Instant Support Anytime, Anywhere

The new uKnowva WhatsApp Bot brings essential HR services directly to employees through a fast and intuitive chat-based experience. With just a simple message, users can apply for leave, check leave balances, review attendance, download payslips, and even access holiday lists—without needing to log in to the HRMS.

Once an employee initiates the conversation from their registered mobile number, the bot automatically verifies their identity and presents quick-action options. It guides users step by step and can even respond to custom queries by sharing relevant help articles, policies, and support links instantly.

This enhancement makes HR support smarter, more accessible, and available anytime right within WhatsApp—ensuring employees get quick answers and seamless self-service on the go.
