Step 1: Navigating to the Skills Page

Begin by logging into uKnowva HRMS and navigating to the Skill master page.

This will direct you to the Skills Master page, where a list of all currently added skills is displayed in a tabular format under the columns Skill Name, Action, Category, and Published.

These columns give you quick access to important data about each skill entry.

Step 2: Editing the Skill

To edit a specific skill, locate it within the list and click on the pen icon under the Action column.

This action will open a pop-up window containing all the editable fields for that skill.

Within the editing interface, you can update the Skill Name, modify or add to the Skill Description, and change the associated Category and Type using the provided drop-down menus.

These fields are designed to ensure that each skill is correctly categorised and defined, making them easier to manage and search later.

Step 3: Saving the Changes

Once you have made all necessary updates to the skill entry, click the Save button at the bottom of the pop-up window to apply your changes.

If you decide not to proceed with the modifications, simply click Cancel to close the pop-up without saving any changes.

The updated details will instantly reflect in the Skills Master list, keeping your data accurate and current.
