uKnowva HRMS makes shift management seamless by allowing HR managers and supervisors to assign shifts to multiple team members at once, as well as make modifications for individual employees.

This article provides a step-by-step guide on assigning and updating shifts using uKnowva HRMS.

Step 1: Access the Team Members Section

Log into your uKnowva HRMS account and navigate to the Team menu from the side navigation panel. Click on the Team Members sub-menu.

This opens a new page displaying the complete list of your team members, including their details and options for scheduling.

Step 2: Assign Shifts to Multiple Team Members

To assign shifts, start by selecting the employees you want to assign shifts to by clicking the checkboxes to the left of their names.

If you want to assign shifts to multiple team members, select all relevant employees. After selecting the team members, click the Assign Shift button located above the list.

A new page will appear showing the names of the selected team members along with columns representing the dates.

 

Click on the row under the date column for each team member.

It will open a pop-up displaying available shift sheets.

Select the appropriate shift and then click the Submit button to save the assignment. Repeat this for every date and team member as needed.

Step 3: Modify Shifts for Individual Team Members

If you need to change the shift for a specific employee, locate that team member in the list and click the Change Shift button next to their name under the Action column.

This opens a page displaying their scheduled shifts.

Click on the row under the relevant date column.

Select the new shift from the pop-up menu, and click Submit to save the updated schedule.

The system will immediately update the employee’s shift, reflecting it in attendance and scheduling modules.
