Editing & Deleting Existing Reports in uKnowva HRMS

Access the Reports page by clicking Reports from the left-side panel.

Scroll the page and move down to the section titled “All Reports.”

Choose the report of your choice which you would like to edit by hovering over the name of the report and then clicking the pen icon.

However, you can also delete a said report by clicking the bin icon next to the pen icon while hovering your cursor or mouse over the report’s name. This deletion button might be only accessible to super admins and hence, not visible to everyone with access to view or edit reports.

And as you proceed to click the pen icon, a new page will appear.

This page will show you all the details which are already filled for the selected report like:

  • Title
  • Report Description
  • Report Category
  • Filter By
  • Access Group
  • Exclude User Group

You can begin editing these details for the chosen report first.

Then for a detailed update, click on the settings button.

Additional fields will populate on the screen which you can edit further like:

  • Group By
  • Decrypt Columns
  • Custom Where Clause

Initiate to customize the PDF, set up data modelling for the reports, filter the reports by advanced modelling, or configure the CRON if you’re the developer.

Change the switch of the toggle buttons for:

  • Deploy as API?
  • Schedule Report?
  • Send individuals?
  • Send report in CSV format via email
  • Pin this report to the most used?

You can also edit or update the report view from the fields chosen from the view or fields directory below this section of the page.

There is a list of the columns which you see are added into the report.

You can cross any of them to exclude them out of the report.

Next, you can add more fields or columns in the report viewby selecting the required fields or columns from the view or fields directory below.

The report view at the center of the page will change automatically as you keep on adding or deleting more columns/rows/or fields here.

After all the changes are done, you can click Submit and the system will update the details automatically.
