Adding new charts or graphs in the dashboard in uKnowva HRMS

  • Print

Dashboards in uKnowva HRMS provide users with a visual representation of key data insights through various charts and statistics for all modules and functions that are enabled in one’s uKnowva HRMS instance.

These dashboards allow users to track and analyze trends effectively, offering flexibility in viewing and organizing data.

To make the dashboard more personalized and informative, users can add additional graphs and customize them according to their requirements.

And as the dashboard is connected to the reports generated in the system, the data that you view in statistics or charts is directly fetched from these reports.

Accessing charts or graphs in the dashboard

Once the dashboard opens, users will find various statistics and analytical charts displaying report insights.

Adding new charts or graphs in the dashboard

If additional graphs need to be added, users can do so by clicking on the + Add More button, located at the top-right corner of the dashboard.

Clicking this + button opens a new interface that allows users to configure and customize graphs before adding them to the dashboard.

In the newly opened interface, users need to fill in several fields to define the graph.

The Basic section requires users to enter details such as the graph's Name, Description, Category, and Graph Type, which can be selected from the available drop-down options.

In the Datasource section, users must specify the data source by selecting a View from the available options, such as Absent More Than 10 Days, Acceptance Rate, or Baseline Incomplete Profile.

Additional parameters like Columns, Record Limit, Access Group, Filter By, Filter Date, Group By, Order By, and Ordering Direction help refine the data presented in the graph. Users can also enter a Custom Where Clause to apply specific conditions for filtering data.

For further customization, the Design section provides options such as Gradient Color, Icon, Format, and the ability to enter Custom JavaScript to enhance the graph’s appearance and functionality.

Several toggle options are available to hide the chart, hide vertical totals, hide horizontal totals, or mark the graph as Published. These settings allow users to control the visibility of specific elements in the dashboard.

Additionally, the Report Setting section includes an option to Link the Dashboard to a Report Column, enabling users to connect their graph to a specific report for better data visualization.

Once all configurations are set, users can either preview the graph by clicking on the Preview button or save it permanently by clicking on the Submit button.

That’s it!

You’ve now learned how to add new charts or grapes in your uKnowva HRMS dashboard.
