Step 1: Access the Index Module from the Top Navigation Panel
To begin, go to the top navigation panel of your uKnowva HRMS instance and click on the “i” icon.
This action opens a drop-down menu that provides access to various knowledge-related features.
From this drop-down menu, select the Index sub-menu.

Once selected, the Index interface opens, displaying all available categories created within the system.

Step 2: Open the Category in Edit Mode
In the Index interface, locate the category for which you want to assign a moderator.
Move your mouse pointer over the desired category, and you will notice action icons appear alongside it.
Click on the pen icon to open the editing pop-up for that category.

This pop-up allows you to modify category-level settings without navigating away from the page.

Step 3: Assign a Moderator to the Category
Inside the editing pop-up, scroll down and find the Moderator field.
In this field, start typing the name of the user you want to assign as the moderator. As you type, the system will suggest matching user names.

Select the appropriate user from the list, then click on the Save button to confirm and apply the changes.
Once saved, the selected user becomes the moderator for that category and gains the responsibility to manage and oversee its content.
